*BBD (Best Before Date) or MHD (Minimum Durability Date) - Confectionery products do not have a use-by date (UBD) but a best before date (BBD or MHD). A reminder on the regulations: The minimum durability date is an indicative date. Once the date has passed, the product may lose some of its taste or nutritional qualities (e.g. a reduction in vitamin content), but is not harmful to health. A product may be offered for sale with an expired MHD. This does not constitute an offence.
