*BBD (Best Before Date) or DDM (minimum durability date) - Confectionery does not have a use-by date (DLC), but a best-before date (BBD or DDM). A reminder of the regulations: the best-before date is a guide. Once it has passed, the product may lose some of its flavour or nutritional qualities (for example, a reduction in vitamin content), but it does not pose a health risk. A product may be offered for sale after its best-before date has passed. This is not an offence.
